Well ladies and fellars, IT’S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE! Please allow me to introduce myself as I understand that I am by far the oldest guest writer The Wise Guise has had. My name is Jerry Bobby and I am a proud native of Pidgeon Forge, TN. I was born on December 25, 1944, on a cold snowy night right outside of the barn on number seven at the old Gatlinburg Goonie Golf Course. My parents, Wilburn and Sissy, raised me as one of six children in God’s Country. I am blessed to have a beautiful wife named Betsy and I LOVE the Big Orange. When I’m not watching my Vols play, you can usually catch me up at Hardee’s eatin’ some of Ms. Brenda’s warm biscuits. Me and the boys are always there if you’re ever passing through! Read more
