I wondered if the reason for this lack of enthusiasm to cover the 2015 race had to do with personally being overwhelmed by other obligations. It was the snub of the morning we certainly didn’t see coming. Sure, things like “Nightcrawler’s” Jake Gyllenhaal getting the boot in favor of “American Sniper’s” Bradley Cooper were a surprise.
